Prototype planning

In todays lesson we discussed what a prototype is and why it is necessary for us to create one for our music video. For example, what we are about to create is a brief version of our music video which should be able to give us a clear idea that is relative to how our music video will be perceived.

With this in mind we set out a plan to start thinking of how we could do a proper test shoot even though we aren't going to necessarily going to have the sets completed in the background of our main character. What we are trying to achieve is the full music video with all of the ideas that we have in place so that we can try and work out what ideas work and what ideas we need to neglect or build on to make sure that each shot continues to draw in the audiences attention so that our video remains fluid.

Our current planning is to find out the different locations, costumes and props.

Props- Big Chairs, tea table, desk lamp, ladder.

With this in mind I ran around school trying to find different locations that we could use for our test shoot. And this is what I found for our demo sets.

Matilda drew this in order to try and give a visual representation of what we are properly trying to achieve
