Continuation of Content Editing Part 2

For this lesson I went with luke to take some more pictures of Kiera to try and create varying content. We thought that it would be a good idea for her to take some photos of herself through the means of a mirror. However Luke also had some ideas that he wanted to experiment with. We found a rather tall plant in a plant pot which we moved next to a wall and then took lots of images to see what kind of stuff we could get out of it. Then Luke had me take some photos with Kiera posing in front of a painting which we using as a background for a couple of mid shots and close ups. These images can be seen below:

Once we had taken these photos. I still had some time left over in our lesson so I decided to start trying to experiment with a few different editing tools. I used another image that Matilda had taken from the photography studio and tried to create another professional looking social media content post.

I started off by experimenting using this image seen below. i added a couple effect to try and see what the limits are with the type of effect i was aiming to achieve:

From this I then followed the same steps but I just simplified the overall idea and tried to gain the best quality possible which can be seen below:

Continuation of Content Editing.

In todays lesson I tried to see if i could possibly make any more use out of anymore of the photos that Matilda had sent me from her session with Kiera in the photography studio. I started off with with this image here:

I started out by cutting her out of the image and then duplicating her body. I then Flipped her upside down and placed her copy in the opposing corner.
After adding a few effects to the image to make it blend I made sure her copy had an eye line match. The reason for this was because I wanted to illuminate the eye line match by drawing in some neon lines, one blue, one red. Each line coming from either 'reflection'.
As you can see I added an interesting effect to the copied image to draw contrast between them. All that was left was to add a final filter over the whole image to bring all of it together.

Further Social Media Content

In todays lesson I was given multiple images to work with that Matilda (in my group) took of Kiera in the photography studio. All of these images are great. However, the only issue that I found with them was that they all have a white background which isn't very interesting in comparisons to other social media products uploaded by popular artist. For example:

With this in mind I selected the image I wanted and then edited to make it more appealing.

BEFORE EDITING:

I changed the texture of the image using multiple adjustment faders. Once this was done, I then changed the colour of the image to try and make her glow.
Once I had achieved her glow and then clicked the black and white button. This gave the image clarity and a professional feel as the there is far more vibrance in the models look as well as in the background.
