In todays lesson I decided to develop my Digipak design in terms of what works and what dose not. I did some further research to see what I could find by looking through google images after searching 'r&b female singers digipaks'. And these were some of the images that stuck out for me.
With each of digipak it's evident that the main subject in each of the covers is the artist themselves. The key element thats different in each of these other than the individual themselves is style, fashion and makeup. For example, the way that they have styled their hair and clothing.Because of the fact that the song that r&b song that we have chosen is slightly more modern in terms of synthesis through the use of digital sounds and synthesisers. I felt as though the front cover could use some different post effects in order to present this due to the fact that the majority of the music that RUBI has created consists of similar characteristics meaning that if she were to release an album, these conventions should be portrayed.
I used a website called 'canva' to create these two digipak designs.
